The market will have a different feel this year, at least for the first part summer. Food and Medicine vendors only. It will be one way up and the other down.

Market on the Plaza

Every Wednesday June 24, 2020 -September 2, 2020

Market on the Plaza is located in the core of Mountain Village with local vendors showing off everything from locally grown foods and local artisan’s creations. And don’t forget to try a Boba Tea from Snowberry!

The annual run up the gondola line to kick off the 4th of July holiday.

Online Ah Haa Art Auction

July 15-18

Both art lovers and community members support the Ah Haa School by bidding on a wide range of work created by artists in and out of Telluride. Typically, more than 100 artworks and myriad services and excursions donated by the region’s artists, businesses, and supporters of the school are auctioned in live and silent auctions.

Shakespeare’s’ The Winter’s Tale

July 18-26 – Main Stage at Town Park

The Telluride Theatre is celebrating 30 years of Shakespeare in the Park! Sit back and enjoy Shakespeare’s “Winter’s Tale,” a story about love, loss and the magic of time. The show will start at 8pm each evening. Be sure to bring chairs, warm clothes and a hot cocoa!

Telluride Baseball Festival

July 20-26

The Telluride Baseball Festival is an old-fashioned celebration of Americana. The week features a Telluride Baseball Camp, a Girls Softball Camp and a Mountain Classic Tournament. The camps are designed for ages 5-18 and feature a group of talented instructors and coaches. The week will conclude with the Mountain Classic Baseball Tournament, which teams come to from all over the country.

Telluride 100 Mountain Bike Race

July 25

A 100-mile mountain bike race commencing and culminating in the Town of Telluride.

Taste of Telluride of Top Chef

August 6

This yearly competition between 3 of our towns greatest chef’s is fund raising event for the One to One Mentor Program. While the Chefs compete, get a taste and libation from many restaurants in the Telluride and Mountain Village areas.

Telluride Mushroom Festival

August 13-16

No, its not what someone may think it is. But it is fun-gi time to be had by all! The festival will be celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Though, most events, panels and discussions will be virtual, those of you who are still planning on attending, there will be some forays and outdoor workshops that are appropriate for this current state we are living in.

Telluride Film Festival

September 4-7

The prestigious Telluride Film Festival brings together industry masters under the auspices of the majestic San Juan Mountains. It is nothing short of a magical weekend, a celebration of film, community, and creativity. The festival notoriously keeps its film schedule a secret, but you can bet that many of the films you will see will be at the top of your Oscar picks in the next awards season.

Imogene Pass Run

September 11-12

What began as a way to train for the popular Pike’s Peak marathon in 1974 is now an annual hardcore run of its own

The race from Ouray to Telluride over the 13,114 foot Imogene Pass. This is a 17.1-mile point to point mountain race. The pass is a 4×4 dirt road that passes through mining ruins, up jagged peaks, and above treeline. The runners finish at the Sheridan Opera House on Oak Street in Telluride.

Telluride Blues and Brews Festival

September 18-20

The festival is celebrating it’s 27th year in our beautiful box canyon. This festival is held at one of the most scenic venues in the world. Legendary artists flock to perform each year to an adorning crowd, who have more than likely attending the festival as many times as artists. Saturday is “Grand Tasting” day. From 12pm to 3pm, sample beers from breweries across Colorado and the West, if of course your 21. Look for the kids selling pretzel necklaces, you’ll need one. Past performers include The Allman Brothers, Joe Walsh, Ben Harper, and James Brown just to name a few.

Telluride Festival of Cars and Colors

September 24-27

This newer festival is great for the entire family. Walk amazed at the vintage cars, super cars while you enjoy the beautiful gold season Telluride. There are some free options but passes are available for those who want to see it all.

Telluride Horror Show

October 16-18

This festival Is the grand hurrah of the end of the summer season. Colorado’s first and largest horror film festival will be celebrating it’s 11th year. This 3-day packed festival will bring the excitement and thrill of the classic horror genre and it includes shorts, animated and comedies. It brings a plethora of talent and fun to our little wild west town.
