Ilium Road is a wonderful scenic drive, meandering along the San Miguel River and offering stunning views of the landscape, the mountains, and the river. Keep in mind that snow is always something you will need to consider during a winter visit, and four-wheel drive is highly recommended from November through April.

Some homes will offer desk setups in the bedrooms, others may have a desk in the living or dining room area, and still others, generally our larger homes, will offer private office spaces. This will be noted in the listing.

Can you recommend a good comfort food restaurant that serves large portions of hearty food?
Mountain life does make you hungry, and most restaurants in town know this, offering larger portions and hearty foods, including the Cornerhouse Grille, located at 131 N Fir Street. Everything on the menu is delicious, but we highly recommend starting your meal with their Cornerhouse Chili.
