Are there any ghost towns near Telluride?
The mining business is profitable, until it isn’t, and when the mines closed, many towns ended up closing as well, with ghost towns such as Ophir Pass (about a half hour’s drive from Telluride) and Alta (just 15 minutes outside of Telluride) offering fascinating sites to explore.

We are celebrating my parents’ golden anniversary and have rented one of your largest houses for our party of 15. Will there be enough seating for everyone to eat together?
Our largest homes offer our largest tables, and if our home offers room for 15, there will be a minimum of 15 chairs surrounding either one large table or two smaller ones, placed close together so everyone can still converse.
