Our winter condos in Telluride, CO are the best place to experience it all. Welcome to heaven!
Not Your Ordinary Condo
Travelers can instantly feel the difference between an Accommodations in Telluride seasonal sanctuary and one managed by other companies. It’s not difficult to find beautiful rentals, but ours rise above the rest. Designed to be a vacation experience, the luxuries and comforts found inside will welcome and spoil. Step into spaces that somehow manage to be full of light, even during the darkest days of winter, and be comfortable. Living rooms with stylish furniture are also places where occupants will gather around state-of-the-art televisions, fires burning merrily in stone fireplaces, and watch their favorite streaming shows on cold and snowy nights. Open concept floor plans will keep you connected as guests are sipping coffee at the dining room table staring out over a landscape of pure joy, heating up a bag of popcorn in the fully equipped kitchen—because what’s a movie without popcorn—and reading in that corner chair strategically placed for the best light. Being attached at the hip on vacation can get annoying, but it is wonderful to look up and see your fellow travelers having a good time not far away!
Bedrooms are serene spaces built to give inhabitants the ultimate in luxuries, an excellent night’s sleep, something that will be much appreciated after a long day of winter fun. And because we do love to spoil our guests, luxuries can be found throughout: high-end appliances in kitchens that easily blend comfort and conveniences, furnishing that is plush, inviting, and topped with the softest linens, and although this last part is a luxury for which we can’t claim the credit, views that never stop. Luxury materials can be found in the wood floors that lead guests from room to room, beams that mimic the wood on the floor and accent the high ceilings, and in the chic mountain décor that reminds you of the wonders visible just outside! The little details are just as important as the larger ones, and high-speed internet allows guests to work from home, luxury appliances will encourage amateur chefs to try their hand at the complicated stuff, and Smart televisions providing pictures so clear you will feel you are a part of the action on the screen. Coffee makers in the kitchens, soaking tubs in ensuite baths, and balconies with beautiful views and comfortable seating are just more examples of what you can expect when you choose one of our Accommodations in Telluride seasonal sanctuaries!

Enjoy a Telluride Winter
Telluride is a skier’s paradise, and the Telluride Ski Resort, which opened in 1972, is the town’s main attraction. Everything does seem to center around skiing, snowboarding, and snow here in the winter. If there’s snow in the air and on the ground, we’re going to be out in it.
What’s your favorite activity when it snows? Downhill skiing or maybe snowboarding? Telluride has over 2,000 skiable acres just for skiing and snowboarding, with a wide variety of terrains, including the European-style Revelation Bowl. There are trails for all skill levels, from beginners just learning all the tricks, to the ski nuts who live for treacherous black diamond runs. Spend the day cross-country skiing and swishing along groomed trails, head out deeper into the back country where you break your own trails. Need something a little more exciting? Book a heli-skiing adventure! It’s a safe way to safely get to the pristine, quiet backcountry, and getting there is just as exciting as the race downhill.
Try a dog sledding adventure, or just rent a few sleds and hit the slopes with your kids. You don’t even have to leave town, just head to Firecracker Hill in Telluride Town Park, or maybe a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride is just the ticket for you and your partner. Snuggle up in warm blankets, and listen to the sleigh bells and the horses tromp through the snow as they pull you through the beautiful, quiet aspen forests under twinkling stars.
Go extreme and test your skills at ice climbing at Bridal Veil Falls with a guided climb. The San Juan Mountains offer a wide variety of climbing opportunities, and there are plenty of area ice climbing guides to help you get started on your ice climbing adventure. Ouray also offers great ice climbing opportunities. There’s ice skating and ice fishing too. Winter fly fishing on the Uncompahgre is something every fly fisherman needs to try at least once.
If you thought that once it snows, your biking days are done for the year, think again. Just rent a fat bike and you can ride any trail no matter its condition. Leisurely bike along historic rail lines with the kids or hit an adrenaline pumping single track.
Take a break from all the fun in the snow and do some sightseeing. A walk through Telluride’s Historic District takes you through downtown Telluride where several historic commercial facades from its mining days remain, as well as through Lone Tree Cemetery, the city’s first cemetery. Visit the Telluride Historical Museum, located in the old miner’s hospital downtown where exhibits include the Telluride Blanket (the only remaining, fully intact example of a brown/red/white twill fabric from the Anasazi), and many other exhibits on the life of the miners, the hospital, Harriet Backus (one of the town’s most famous residents), and more. The museum offers plenty of activities too, including gold-panning, and a Lone Tree Cemetery Tour. Book a guided historic city walking tour to learn about the city’s booming mining industry, its impact on the area and its decline.
Of course, everyone in Telluride has to ride the Telluride Mountain Village Gondola that connects historic Telluride with Mountain Village. The ride offers an incredible panoramic view of the western snowcapped San Juan Mountain Range, forests, waterfalls, and aerial views of both towns. Part of the city’s public transportation system, it’s pet-friendly, fully accessible, and free!
