Plan a getaway with loved ones this year to a four-seasons resort town like no other. Gaze out at beautiful snow-capped mountains in the winter or watch the colors of fall and summer flood the environment. The Centennial State is dotted with many of these cozy mountain towns that offer plenty of activities, attractions, and more. Telluride is one of those towns. During all the fun, you’re bound to hear your stomach rumble. While there are many brick and mortar restaurants that are ready to serve you, sometimes you need or want good food to go in Telluride.

Many of Telluride’s food cart vendors are available all year long. The winter ski season and summer festival season are busiest, and carts have expanded hours during those times. The “shoulder seasons” may mean limited hours for your favorite cart, so plan accordingly.

Located in Heritage Plaza in Mountain Village, the food cart brings delicious Latin inspired flavors to the area. They serve up delicious bites all year long from their cozy cart. Enjoy a full meal when you add bottled water or a canned soft drink to wash it all down.

You can also opt for Sheboygan brats that come all the way from Wisconsin. Pair it with chips and a soft drink to satisfy your hunger on a busy Telluride day. In the summer months, especially during festivals, you’ll find the cart open daily and late at night on the weekends. Place Des Crepes

Also located in Heritage Plaza, they’re only open during the winter ski season. Crepe batter is made from scratch every morning by the owner – and only the owner – for daily delicious consistency. Once the crepes are prepared, they’re stuffed with sweet and savory fillings and toppings, like Nutella, raspberry, bananas, butter, spinach, cheese, tomatoes, ham, and more. Weather permitting, the stand is open daily in the Mountain Village. The cart is a staple at Heritage Plaza and has been in operation for over 20 years!

Telluride Gyro Cart

The cart serves Telluride year-round! In the winter ski season, you’ll find them bundled up in their winter gear, with a curtain to block some of the cold and wind from blowing things around. Whatever you’ve been doing throughout the day, take a break for a delicious fresh gyro or salad. Complete the meal with chips, soda or seltzer, or water. You can typically find them at the top of the Chondola/Lift 1, in Sunset Plaza.
