San Miguel Basin Fair and Rodeo

The San Miguel Basin Fair happens every summer at Norwood’s San Miguel County Fairgrounds. Livestock shows are throughout the week, and shows happen daily. The Fair Board invites everyone to come and see the stock, visit with the kids, and participate in the junior livestock auction. A free barbecue is planned for those who’d like to attend the sale.
The week concludes with the annual rodeo, which is a great time for everyone—kids and adults alike!
For Norwood, the fair and rodeo are part of a decades-old tradition that celebrates the western way of life and brings people to town to celebrate that. There will be something for everyone, and the chamber invites you to come out and enjoy yourself.
